About A & J Electric

We are a family owned electrical shop located in Forest Grove, Oregon. The company was originally founded in 1965 by two friends: Al Slottman and James "Bud" Greason. They serviced Washington County and outlying areas in pick-up service work and light commercial.

In 1972 Bud Greason purchased his partner out and established a residential and commercial shop. He then passed the company over to his son, Terry in 1999. Both of Terry's children, Shawn & Leeann, have worked at A&J Electric since they were teenagers. They plan to continue to run the business when Terry is ready to retire.

A&J Electric has been voted Best Electrical Contractor by their local community in the Readers Choice Awards every year from 2016 through 2023. For the 3 consecutive years prior to that, Shawn Greason of A&J Electric was voted Best Electrician in the Readers Choice Awards.

We are an established electrical contractor that can help you partially design from the ground up any residential, commercial or light industrial project that you may have. We also perform emergency service work on your home or business.
